The Learning Resources Centre was officially opened to students at the beginning of term in September 2008.
Centre facilities include the Library, two 32 seat classrooms with computers, six mathematics classrooms, a Conference suite and a main large room for supervised sixth form study.
In addition to being used for sixth form study, the main room has many uses during the school day including a venue for public exams, staff meetings and student council meetings.
During the course of the year the centre is used for community functions, including art exhibitions and performing arts festivals.
The centre is also used for the Summer School Scheme, and classes taking place within the Centre after school include self defence and street dance.
The classrooms and quiet area are available for booking out of school hours.
